JS: Reflection on photoshoot
I feel that our photoshoot was both testing and successful. In unfortunate weather conditions we produced some photos that we can still use, however a lot also came out blurry - because of difficulty with the camera focusing with heavy rain falling and the lens becoming wet. Even these blurry photos aren't rendered useless, because it almost takes away a degree of personality with faces not focused - this means you are left to location, costume, and props to take understanding from our inner sleeve, yet I feel that this almost progressive for our concept: as it means the more significant things are more prevalent. My role was in bringing the props and also in ensuring the location was suitable, I also had to organise the people who were in the shoot and confirm logistics wise it was achievable. We captured a range of shots that means, despite the weather conditions leading to some slightly poor pictures, we have a lot of options to choose from - and a re-shoot is unlikely necessary.
