Above is a brief range of different edits for our magazine advertisement. We decided that this was the best shot to use for several reasons: it's not just a screen shot from footage; the location and costume reinforces metanarrative; and the lines on the brick work all lead into the artist - drawing attention to them. Moreover we felt that the relatively blank sky is an ideal place to put the words of our advert - as they wouldn't intrude on anything significant and further leads the reading into the artist.
A mistake was noticed in the above images, in that I accidently wrote the single name "Save it for another day" instead of the album name, "Food for thought"
